About Attorney Bradley Morris
Attorney Morris graduated from Boston College Law School in 1996, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Louisville in 1993 as a Woodford Porter Scholar.
Upon graduation from law school, Boston College awarded Attorney Morris the “Wendell F. Grimes Commencement Award” for achievement in oral advocacy. Attorney Morris also received the “Best Oralist” award at the National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition.
Attorney Morris has authored numerous articles on a wide range of legal topics. Most recently, he authored the article, “To Lien Or Not To Lien, That Is The Question,” which was published in the October 2010 issue of Connecticut Lawyer Magazine. He also authored the 2-part “Dead Man” series that focused of Connecticut’s Dead Man’s Statute. The two articles in the series were “Dead Men Do Tell Tales: Connecticut’s Dead Man’s Statute,” published in January, 2002, and “Dead Men Still Tell Tales: Revisiting Connecticut’s Dead Man’s Statute,” published in December 2007. Attorney Morris also authored “Res Ipsa Loquitur: Reckoning Its Relationship to Retail,” which was published in The Defense, the Journal of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association, “When a Nor’easter Blows, What’s Your Duty To Remove Ice and Snow?” and “The 411 On 911 Liability.”
In addition to authorship, Attorney Morris has been a State-Certified lecturer for the Connecticut Department of Public Safety on the liability issues affecting 911 telecommunicators and responders. He has lectured throughout the state on the liability issues affecting emergency response personnel such as firemen, ambulance personnel, policemen and 911 telecommunicators under the Connecticut’s statutory governmental immunity framework.
Attorney Morris is a member of the Federal District Court for the District of Connecticut, and The Connecticut State Court. He is a Member of the American Bar Association, and the American Association of Justice, and is a graduate of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Trial College, as well as the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
